I had an Americom 8mm version of Snow White Meets The Three Stooges. Only Americom I found at retail, otherwise I would have bought a Hammer. Though my projector had adjustable speeds, I became convinced that the audio recording had been slowed down in the mastering, especially in certain spots. I would try to match the rate with the projector but it was always variable.
I have Horror Of Dracula in Super 8 w/record and I got to tell you, if you have a silent only Super 8 projector forget synching! The record is timed at 24fps sound speed and my silemt Super 8MM projector only projects at 18fps which is normal for silent film speed! I collect optical/mag 16MM and 35MM now.
