While Mego is better known for their World's Greatest Super-Heroes, Planet of the Apes, and Star Trek action figure lines (among many others), they also produced a set of collectible monster action figures -- but they did them after AHI did their own "World's Greatest Super-Monsters" line that licensed the Universal monsters! So Mego had to use more generic versions of the monsters. While the silk-screened costumes worked well with their superheroes, I don't believe it works so well for the monsters.
There were glowing and non-glowing versions of these figures.
